Headliners
FaZe Clan vs Tfue lawsuit story (see “theScore eports” for more in depth video)
- Tfue is taking legal action against FaZa Clan regarding contract terms
- Tfue wants out of his contract, believing that it is “onerous” “one-sided” and halting his progress as an content creator
- The main issue surrounds a part of the contract which FaZe Clan is entitled to 80% of ENDORSEMENTS (key word)
- FaZe Clan responds the same day (20th) saying they have never collected on that clause, saying that Tfue has earned “millions” while they have only made $60,000
- Faze Clan is acting as a “talent agency” by making decisions on endorsement deals on behalf of Tfue, which they are not allowed to do because they are no licensed in the state of California
- FaZe Clan has been limiting Tfue’s endorsement deals by only
allowing him to the sign with endorsements FaZa agrees with.
- Tfue has allegedly set up his own deal with HyperX but was denied by FaZe Clan because they allegedly have connections with HyperX competitor, Steel Series
- To put it short, Tfue wants out of the contract. He regrets doing it in the first place because he feels he could do much better without FaZe
- Tfue has responded the 23rd saying that the bit about being pressured to drink or gamble he wanted removed and will be removed.
